Ingredients
2 lb of flank or skirt steak
3 tsp La Cocina Carne Asada Seasoning
¼ cup Orange Juice
2 tsp Lime Juice
2 tsp neutral oil
3 cloves Minced Garlic
1 tsp Soy Sauce (optional)
Intructions
Prep the steak: Pat steak dry. Trim excess silver skin so seasoning penetrates evenly.
Build the marinade: Whisk orange juice, lime juice, oil, garlic, soy sauce, and La Cocina Carne Asada Seasoning until combined.
Marinate: Coat steak fully and marinate 2–6 hours. Flip halfway for even absorption.
Preheat grill: Heat BBQ to high (500°F). You want a ripping-hot grate for fast sear + char.
Grill the meat: Sear 4–6 min per side depending on thickness. Aim for medium‑rare to medium for tenderness.
Rest the steak: Let rest 8–10 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain for maximum tenderness.
Serve: Use in tacos, nacho fries, or quesadillas.
